Welcome to Little Zion Baptist Church. I am thrilled that you have chosen to spend some time exploring our website and learning about the wonderful opportunities at Little Zion. Little Zion is filled with a congregation committed to serving God. That means that we worship him vigorously and with unwavering faith. We are a church that believes that we play an important role in our community; therefore, we extend our love and outreach outside the church through generosity, gratitude and compassion. We aim to provide an atmosphere of loving acceptance, where people can grow spiritually through vibrant worship, honest friendships, a caring fellowship, constant prayer and compassionate concern for one another. Our mission is to seek life balance because we believe there is a balance in life. Jesus said, “A thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that they might have life and have it abundantly” (John 10:10). People often talk about God doing “exceeding abundantly, beyond all we can ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20). As a group of Gods’ people, we care about you and your family and we’re here not only to feed you spiritually, but to help in any way we can. Whether it’ tackling sensitive subjects such as finances or marriage, our weekly “Let’s Talk” class addresses many of the things that often create imbalance in one’s life. We also invite all to attend our Bible Study classes so that you might fulfill your desire to know God better. If you are looking for a church home or if you have a specific prayer, let me encourage you to fill out one of our connect cards that you’ll find in the bulletin you got when you came in. Just write your name and e-mail or phone number on there, since we’d love to stay in touch with you and let you know about some exciting upcoming events we’re planning for the next few months.
